A. All Prevention/Early Intervention Services must maintain documentation that services include, but are not limited to, the following:
1. Informational activities
designed to provide accurate and current information about emotional
disturbance and mental illness in children/youth; or
2. Effective education activities, such as
parent education, designed to assist people in developing or improving critical
life skills and to enhance social competency thereby changing the conditions
that reinforce inappropriate behavior; or
3. Consultation/education activities that are
designed to include, but not be limited to, education and awareness activities
to assist in the maintenance and/or improvement of services; or,
4. Early Intervention Services, including
screening, assessment, referral, counseling, and/or Crisis Intervention
Services, designed to serve people identified as "high risk" and who are
exhibiting signs of dysfunctional behaviors.
B. Development of linkages with other health and social service agencies, particularly with those serving children.
