A. Some or all of the contents of a safety deposit box may be countable as resources based on the appropriate policy applicable to the type of resource, i.e., stock certificated, coins, jewelry, life insurance policy, etc.
B. If a recipient's possessions are stored in another person's' safety deposit box, access to the contents must be deteremined. Access would be determined the owner's statement.
C. Contents are determined from statements of the applicant/recipient, spouse or authorized representative. Access tp or owner of the.
