he Mississippi Commission on Marine Resources has determined that there is a need to support the decision of the United States Congress which authorized the United States Secretary of Commerce, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NCAA) Assistant Administrator, for fisheries to adopt conservation measures for Atlantic Bluefin Tuna (Thunnus thynnus) as recommended by the International Commission for the Conservation of Atlantic Tunas (ICCAT), which was established by the International Convention for the Conservation of Atlantic Tunas, a treaty to which the United States and eighteen other countries are parties.
