The restrictions outlined in this Part do not apply to brill nets, cast nets, drop nets for crabs, small mesh beach seines not exceeding one-hundred (100) feet in length, and having a mesh size not to exceed 1/4-inch bar-1/2 inch stretch, trawls, for the catching of shrimp, or purse seines for the catching of menhaden.
