Rule 2-903-9.3 - Administration

The Mississippi Soil and Water Conservation Commission receives requests from the SWCDs each year for equipment they wish to purchase under the program. The Commission approves eligible requests, purchases the equipment and provides it to the SWCDs. Education Enhancement funds are used to pay for 50% of the equipment at the time of purchase. The remaining balance of purchased equipment is paid by the SWCDs through a loan acquired under the Revolving Loan Fund as discussed in Chapter 4.
