Whenever a licensee performs a wood infestation inspection in connection with a real estate transaction, he is required to make a written report on the Mississippi Official Wood Destroying Insect Report form and provide copies to the mortgagee, the seller, the buyer, and the realtor, if these are known. A licensee may refuse to complete the Mississippi Official Wood Destroying Insect Report form after performing an inspection, provided no fee is assessed.
