1) CCPP providers may charge reasonable late fees but they must be published to the public, and in all marketing materials, and must apply equally to CCPP and non-CCPP children.

2) If CCPP providers elect to charge more than the published reimbursement rate, the provider is responsible for collecting the overage from the parent or any responsible party.

3) All fees shall be paid by the parent during the current month directly to the provider according to the child care certificate issued by MDHS. Providers shall maintain proof of collection of co-payment fees (identified separately from tuition overage payments and late fee payments) made by parents.

4) All outstanding co-payment fees must be paid to the provider before MDHS will grant a change of provider request unless the parent demonstrates emergency circumstances.

5) Providers must provide proof of payment to parents that must include the following:

a) Parent's name

b) Payment amount

c) Date of payment

d) Child care center's name

e) Child care provider's name and signature
