A. State law prohibits the collection or disturbance in any way of artifacts, plants and animals, rocks and minerals, and natural formations. Digging for artifacts or relics, the use of metal detectors or probes of any kind, and the removal of items or artifacts lying on the ground surface, is prohibited

B. Overnight camping is prohibited without prior written permission of the Winterville Mounds director.

C. All vehicles, including bicycles, motorbikes, etc., should remain in the public parking area.

D. Outdoor cooking or barbequing is restricted to the immediate area of the picnic pavilion.

E. The use of fireworks is prohibited on the grounds

F. Firearms are prohibited on the grounds

G. Alcoholic beverages and other controlled substances are prohibited on the grounds.

H. Soliciting on the site is prohibited.

I. Smoking is prohibited in all buildings.

J. Dogs brought on to the grounds must be kept on a leash. Dogs are not allowed inside buildings with exception of service animals.
