The data system for the STEMI System of Care is the ACTION Registry-GWTG (Get with The Guidelines) system. The ACTION Registry-GWTG is a risk-adjusted, outcomes-based quality improvement program that focuses exclusively on high-risk STEMI/NSTEMI patients. It helps hospitals apply American College of Cardiology (ACC) and American Heart Association (AHA) clinical guideline recommendations in their facilities provides invaluable tools to measure care and achieve quality improvement goals. Use of the ACTION Registry-GWTG is a requirement for participation in the STEMI System of Care.
