The State Registrar shall examine the sworn statement and the documentary evidence and shall determine the acceptability of such evidence in establishing the facts of birth. If the State Registrar rejects the provided evidence as unsatisfactory, written notification of the rejection and the reasons for the rejection shall be provided to the person making application on behalf of the child.
