Rule 15-5-85-1.7.1

Venue of any court action in which the Board of Health is a defendant is Hinds County, Mississippi. Actions may be brought in any justice court of the state which has jurisdiction of the subject matter but lacks venue without dismissal because of lack of proper venue. However, at the request of the defendant the case can be transferred to the proper venue.
