The certified waterworks operator for a public water system shall be present for the conduct of sanitary surveys and inspections by Bureau staff when requested by Bureau staff and when provided at least twenty-four (24) hours' notice of the survey or inspection. Under special circumstances, this requirement may be waived by the Director provided the certified operator arranges for someone to represent him/her during the survey or inspection.
