The applicant must have at least a bachelor's degree in engineering or applied sciences from an accredited college or university, at least one year of experience in a Class A or B water treatment plant, and pass the written examination required by the Bureau. Or alternatively, an applicant must be a graduate of an accredited high school or possess an equivalent (GED), have at least six (6) years of experience in a Class A or B water plant, and pass the written examination required by the Bureau. In both applicant cases, at least one (1) year of working experience must be in a Class A plant.
