Miss. Code Ann. § 37-154-3 provides for the SLDS Governing Board to be composed of a representative designated from each agency or entity providing data to the system, and others as determined by the Board, in accordance with Board Rules and Regulations. The Chair of the SLDS Governing Board will serve a two-year term. The Chair will appoint a vice-chair. Half of all board members shall be a quorum. The chairman shall be responsible for ensuring official minutes of each meeting are kept.
