Chapter 2201 - BOXING
Part 2201.0500 - BOXING AND TOUGH PERSON CONTESTS

A. Each boxer or tough person shall complete a pre-contest physical examination performed by a ringside physician licensed in this state who certifies in writing whether or not the boxer or tough person is physically fit to safely compete. The pre-contest physical examination shall include the condition of the boxer or tough person's heart and general physical and neurological condition. The physician shall immediately file with the commission a written report of the examination.

B. Each female boxer or tough person shall submit to the commission a negative pregnancy test, not more than 14 days old, prior to each contest.

C. Each boxer or tough person shall complete a postcontest physical examination performed by a ringside physician licensed in this state after the final bout of the event, the purpose of which is to identify any injuries sustained during the contest. The physician shall immediately file with the commission a written report of the examination.
