Part 6700.1400 - INACTIVE STATUS OF PEACE OFFICER LICENSES

Subpart 1. Notification of terminations.

The chief law enforcement officer shall notify the board within ten days of all voluntary and involuntary terminations of peace officers. The notification shall include name of licensee, licensee's forwarding address unless licensee requests that this information not be divulged, and date of termination.

Subp. 2. Inactive status.

An individual possessing a peace officer license may maintain the license in an inactive status, provided the individual meets the requirements of part 6700.1000, subpart 3.

Subp. 3. Repealed.

Subp. 4. Inactive license.

An individual who possesses an inactive peace officer license has no peace officer power or authority.
