Part 5300.0110 - LICENSE REQUIREMENT

Subpart 1. License required.

No person, other than those individuals exempt in Minnesota Statutes, sections 148B.32, subdivision 2, and 148B.38, shall engage in marriage and family therapy practice, advertise the performance of such services, or use a title or description denoting marriage and family therapist without obtaining a license issued under Minnesota Statutes, sections 148B.29 to 148B.39, and this chapter.

Subp. 2. Engaging in marriage and family therapy practice, defined.

An individual engages in marriage and family therapy practice if the individual performs or offers to perform marriage and family therapy or if the individual is presented as one who is able to perform such a service.
