IBC section 1210.2.1 is amended to read as follows:

1210.2.1 Floors and wall bases. In other than dwelling units, toilet, bathing and showeroom fleets floor finish material shall have a smooth, hard, nonabsorbent surface, such as portland cement, concrete, ceramic tile, sheet vinyl, or other approved floor covering material. The intersections of such floors with walls shall have a smooth, hard, nonabsorbent vertical base that extends upward onto the walls at least 4 inches (101 mm).
