STANDARDS FOR PROTECTION AGAINST RADIATION
Part 4731.2530 - RECORDS; PLANNED SPECIAL EXPOSURES

Subpart 1. Required records.
For each planned special exposure under part 4731.2060, a licensee must maintain records that describe:
A. the exceptional circumstances requiring
the use of a planned special exposure;
B. the name of the management official who
authorized the planned special exposure and a copy of the signed
authorization;
C. what actions were
necessary;
D. why the actions were
necessary;
E. how doses were
maintained ALARA; and
F. what
individual and collective doses were expected to result and the doses actually
received in the planned special exposure.
Subp. 2. Retention period.
A licensee must retain records under this part until the commissioner terminates each pertinent license requiring the records.
