Chapter 4727 - EXPLORERS AND EXPLORATORY BORINGS
LICENSING, CERTIFICATION, AND REGISTRATION OF EXPLORERS AND EQUIPMENT
Part 4727.0400 - LICENSING REQUIRED

Subpart 1. License required.
No person shall drill, construct or otherwise cause to be made, repair, or seal an exploratory boring unless:
A. the person possesses, or performs labor or
services for a person who possesses, a valid explorer's license issued by the
commissioner;
B. the person is
registered with, or is performing labor or services for a person who is
registered with, the commissioner of natural resources according to Minnesota
Statutes, section
103I.601,
subdivision 3; and
C. the
construction, repair, or sealing of the exploratory boring is supervised by a
responsible individual.
Subp. 2. Licensing requirements.
An explorer engaging in exploratory boring shall obtain a license according to parts 4727.0500 to 4727.0860.
