Part 8240.1750 - HEAD ELECTION JUDGE TRAINING

Subpart 1. Length.
A head election judge training course must be at least one hour long.
Subp. 2. Course content.
The head election judge training course must include information on the following topics:
A. head election judges' duties before
election day;
B. head election
judges' duties to open the polling place on election day;
C. how to use the voting equipment;
D. how to provide emergency election judge
training;
E. how to use the
training materials to find answers to questions arising in the polling place on
election day;
F. how to help
election judges work together in the polling place;
G. head election judges' duties at the
polling place after the polls close; and
H. how to return election materials to the
local election official after the ballots have been counted.
