Section R. 460.856 - Availability of records

Rule 6. All records required by these rules shall be kept in files within the boundaries of the state, at the offices of the producer or transmitter responsible for such records, and shall be available at all reasonable times for examination by authorized representatives of the commission: provided, that temporary absence of records from the state that are necessary or convenient in the record system of a producer or transmitter are approved, and that in specific cases the commission may at its own discretion or upon proper showing, authorize other modifications of this provision. All such records shall be preserved for at least 3 years after they are made, except as otherwise provided.
