Section R. 460.974 - Interconnection metering and communications

(1) Any metering and communications requirements necessitated by use of the DER must be installed at the applicant's expense. The electric utility may furnish this equipment at the applicant's expense.

(2) The electric utility may charge the interconnection customer reasonable ongoing fees to maintain the metering and communications equipment. These fees must be listed in the interconnection agreement.
