Rule 26.

(1) A registered qualifying patient or registered primary caregiver may voluntarily withdraw from the Michigan medical marihuana program in a manner prescribed by the department.

(2) Upon receiving confirmation from the department that his or her withdrawal has been processed, the registered qualifying patient or registered primary caregiver shall destroy the registry identification card.

(3) A registered qualifying patient or registered primary caregivers withdrawal from the Michigan medical marihuana program shall not result in the destruction of any confidential records the department is required to maintain under section 6(h) of the act, MCL 333.26426.
