Rule 10. Sections 11.1.6.1, 11.1.6.4, 11.3.1.2, 11.3.2, 11.3.3, 11.3.4, 11.3.5, 11.5.1.1, 11.5.1.2, 11.5.1.3, 11.5.1.4, 11.5.1.5, 11.5.1.6, 11.5.1.7, 11.6.1, 11.6.1.1, 11.6.1.2, 11.6.1.3, 11.6.1.4, 11.6.1.5, 11.7.1, 11.7.2.1, 11.7.2.2, 11.7.3, 11.8.1, 11.8.4, 11.9, 11.9.1, 11.9.2, 11.9.3, 11.9.4, 11.9.5 and 11.9.6 of chapter 11 of the code are deleted and sections 11.1.2, 11.1.3, 11.3.1.1, 11.4, 11.5.4 and 11.6.2 of chapter 11 of the code are amended to read as follows:
11.1.2 All electrical appliances, fixtures, equipment, or wiring shall be maintained in accordance with the Michigan electrical code.
11.1.3 Permanent wiring shall be installed and maintained in accordance with the Michigan electrical code.

11.5.4 Vents. All chimneys, smokestacks, or similar devices for conveying smoke or hot gases to the outer air and the stoves, furnaces, incinerators, boilers, or any other heat-producing devices or appliances shall be maintained in accordance with NFPA 54 and NFPA 211.
11.6.1 Deleted.
11.6.2 Installation and maintenance. Rubbish chutes, laundry chutes, and incinerators shall be maintained in accordance with NFPA 82, standard on incinerators and waste and linen handling systems and equipment, unless the installations are approved existing installations, which shall be permitted to be continued in service. 9.5.2
