Rule 1729.

(1) A temporary light shall be equipped with a guard to prevent accidental contact with the bulb, except that a guard is not required when the bulb is fully recessed in the reflector.

(2) A temporary light shall not be suspended by the electric cord unless the cord and light is designed for suspension.
