Rule 601.

(1) A franchise agent may not participate in the offer or sale of a franchise currently registered or exempted under section 6(1) or 6(2)(a) or (b) of the act, unless the franchise agent is registered with the administrator on the appropriate forms filed by the franchisor or a franchise agent. A franchise agent, except an agent working exclusively for another franchise agent pursuant to part 7, may not represent more than 1 franchisor, unless the administrator specifically authorized by order the multiple employment on terms and conditions as are appropriate to the public interest.

(2) A franchise agent may only be a natural person.
