All signatures by or on behalf of owners must be notorized on all claims in excess of $500.00. If any property is held jointly, then the signatures of all original owners, unless one is deceased, must appear on the claim form before it can be approved at any level within the Division. If one of the original owners of property held jointly is deceased, the lawful representative of the decedent's estate must sign the claim form along with the other original owner before it can be approved at any level within the Division.
