804 CMR 1.00 establishes rules for procedure and practice before the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination. The purpose of 804 CMR 1.00 is to achieve a just, speedy and fair determination of matters before the Commission in the service of the public interest. In the interests of justice, the Commission, through its individual Commissioners, may exercise its discretion and relax the application of 804 CMR 1.00. The Commission shall issue such orders and fashion such relief as shall effectuate the purposes of the statutes enforced by the Commission.
