Subsection 3111.10 - General Installation Requirements and Alarm Signal Precedence

Installation requirements for the interconnected, monitored smoke and carbon monoxide detection and notification alarm systems shall be in accordance with this code; 527 CMR 31.00: Carbon Monoxide Alarms; the smoke alarm/detector and carbon monoxide alarm/detector manufacturers' requirements; NFPA 72 and NFPA 720, all as applicable. For alarm signal precedence, see section 916.5.
