The purpose of 330 CMR 34.00 is to establish statewide science-based minimum standards relating to the sanitary and safe growing, harvesting, labeling, packing, and holding of fresh fruits and vegetables grown for human consumption in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts consistent with those established by the FDA under 21 CFR § 112et seq.
