310 CMR 42.00 establishes a program for Department certification of laboratories to conduct analytical measurements for purposes of determining chemical, radiochemical, and microbiological parameters in environmental samples.
Alaboratory performing any analyses as a Department-certified laboratory, as indicated by the use of its Massachusetts laboratory certification identification number on or included with any issued report, is subject to the requirements of 310 CMR 42.00 for those analyses for which it holds Department certification and that it identifies in the report as having been conducted in accordance with the Department's certification standards.
