Title 310 CMR 19.000 - Solid Waste Management
Part I - GENERAL REQUIREMENTS, PROCEDURES AND PERMITS
Section 19.016 - Post-closure Use

No person shall use a solid waste management facility site for any purpose after closure without:

(a) obtaining a written approval from the Department for any post-closure use on a landfill's final cover or affecting an appurtenance to said landfill, including but not limited to, appurtenances required for the management of leachate, landfill gas and stormwater; or (b) submitting a valid certification in accordance with 310 CMR 19.035 for a post-closure use at a transfer station which is not a C&D transfer station; or

(c) obtaining a presumptive approval in accordance with 310 CMR 19.034 for any other type of post-closure use at a solid waste facility not subject to 310 CMR 19.016(1)(a) or (b).
