Title 310 CMR 17.00 - Part I: Recycling Industries Reimbursement Credit Grant Program
Section 17.04 - Eligibility Criteria

(1) In General. To be considered for a Grant, proposed projects must satisfy all of the following eligibility requirements. The eligibility of any Grant Application shall be determined in each instance by the Department.
(a)
Eligible
Business. To be eligible for a Grant, an Eligible Business must,
at the time of the application, be:
1. a
Company or Corporation;
2.
employing at least 50% of its full-time equivalent non-salaried workforce, at
the site for which the grant is being utilized, in the Commonwealth;
and
3. in compliance with the
Commonwealth's applicable environmental laws and regulations.
(b)
Ineligible
Applicants. A Grant Applicant is considered ineligible if:
1. its owners have been convicted of
violating any state or federal civil or criminal environmental law in the past
three years; and/or,
2. the Company
or Corporation is defined solely as an Intermediary and/or a Broker.
(c)
Eligible
Activities. For the purposes of this Grant Application, eligible
activities shall include, but not be limited to, one or more of the following:
1. Reclaiming Process; and/or
2. Manufacturing Process.
(d)
Eligible
Materials. Only those materials on the Designated List will be
considered eligible materials for Grant Funds.
