Section 12.03 - Hours of Operation

(1) Unless otherwise posted, permitted or provided, DCR property shall be open to the public from 1/2 hour before sunrise to 1/2 hour after sunset as published by the National Weather Service.
(2) The use of DCR roadways and bridges is not limited to the hours in 302 CMR 12.03(1).
(3) The use of DCR property for snowmobiling, fishing, camping, and other authorized nighttime activities is not limited to the hours of operation provided in 302 CMR 12.03(1).
(4) Temporary Closing of DCR Property.
(a) The Commissioner
may limit or restrict access to or use of DCR property due to potential or
immediate hazard, emergency, hazardous weather, water, fire, construction,
maintenance or other public health, safety or welfare concerns, or detrimental
impacts on the property, nature, wildlife, or the environment of the DCR
property in compliance with Massachusetts or Federal laws or
regulations.
(b) No person may
enter, use or occupy any closed area of a DCR property.
