Section 3.01 - License Requirements

A graduate of an AVMA approved veterinary school or an international veterinary graduate who has a Board approved international veterinary graduate certificate may obtain a license to practice veterinary medicine in the Commonwealth by meeting the requirements in 256 CMR 3.01(1) through (4):
(1) Each applicant shall have obtained a passing score in a Board approved veterinary licensing examination;
(2) Each applicant shall have obtained a passing score on the Massachusetts Jurisprudence Examination;
(3) Each applicant must file an application and fee as required by the Board; and
(4) The Board at its discretion may require an oral examination or interview.
