A license to practice as a dispensing optician in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts shall be valid for a period of two years, beginning on the license holder's date of birth in one calendar year and ending on the license holder's date of birth two calendar years later, unless that license is voluntarily surrendered by the holder thereof, or is revoked, suspended or cancelled earlier by the Board as a result of disciplinary action taken pursuant to M.G.L. c. 112, §§61 and/or 73H and/or 235 CMR 5.00: Standards of Professional Practice and Conduct; Disciplinary Proceedings.
