Code of Massachusetts Regulations
233 CMR - BOARD OF REGISTRATION OF CHIROPRACTORS
Title 233 CMR 3.00 - Continuing Education Requirements
Section 3.01 - Continuing Education Requirement

Universal Citation: 233 MA Code of Regs 233.3
Current through Register 1531, September 27, 2024

As a condition for renewal of his or her registration, each registered chiropractor shall complete at least 12 hours of continuing education during each one-year registration period in courses or programs approved by the Board pursuant to 233 CMR 3.03. Unless this requirement is waived by the Board pursuant to 233 CMR 3.02, failure by a registered chiropractor to complete such continuing education shall constitute sufficient grounds for disciplinary action by the Board.

A chiropractor is responsible for maintaining written proof satisfactory to the Board that he or she has completed the continuing education required for renewal for a period of no less than three years from the date the course was taken. 233 CMR 3.01 shall not be construed to decrease the continuing education documentation that must be submitted by individuals seeking reinstatement of an expired license under 233 CMR 2.06: Inactive Status; Individual Reinstatement.
