Section 67.23 - Penalties

After notice and opportunity for a hearing, the Commissioner may impose a monetary penalty on any person or group found to be in violation of any of the provisions of 211 CMR 67.00, M.G.L. c. 152, or any other applicable law or regulation. The monetary penalty shall not exceed $1,000 for each act or violation, not to exceed an aggregate monetary penalty of $10,000. The amount of any such monetary penalty shall be paid to the Commissioner for the use of the Division. Such penalty shall be in addition to any other penalty provided by law.
