Title 205 CMR 9.00 - Injury Reporting Rules And Regulations For Greyhound Racing
Section 9.02 - Duties of Association Veterinarian

(1) The association veterinarians shall provide accurate records of all injuries incurred by racing greyhounds while they are racing in the Commonwealth, including schooling races. These records shall be made on forms approved and provided by the Commission, and shall include:

(a) The greyhound's registered name and right and left ear tattoo numbers;

(b) The owner, trainer and kennel operator's name, business address, and telephone number;

(c) The color, weight, and sex of the greyhound;

(d) Where the injury took place on a race track or other area;

(e) If the injury occurred while the greyhound was racing, the racetrack where the injury occurred, the distance, grade, race and post position, weather conditions, time, temperature, track condition, the specific type of injury, estimated recovery time, and the location of the injury on the greyhound.

(2) The association veterinarian shall provide copies of the injury reports to the Commission veterinarian in a timely manner.
