130 CMR 416.000 governs services provided by hearing instrument specialist under MassHealth. A hearing instrument specialist who complies with 130 CMR 416.404, dispenses hearing aids or instruments, and provides services related to the care and maintenance of hearing aids or instruments is eligible to become a MassHealth provider. All hearing instrument specialists participating in MassHealth must comply with MassHealth regulations, including but not limited to those set forth in 130 CMR 416.000 and 450.000: Administrative and Billing Regulations.
