Section 2.480 - Student in Institution of Higher Education

(1) A refugee who is receiving Refugee Cash Assistance cannot be a full-time student in an institution of higher education unless enrolled in a program that is an English-language or other training program, less than 12 months in duration, designed to prepare and place the participant in employment and consistent with the Family Self-sufficiency Plan. Such a program cannot interfere with early employment goals of the participant. The case manager must verify that these conditions are being met

(2)121 CMR 2.480 does not apply to Refugee Medical Assistance eligibility.
