Section 2.410 - Residence

The refugee shall be a resident of Massachusetts. There is no duration requirement to establish residence. Residence need only be verified when there is information available to the case manager that is contradictory, inconsistent or incomplete. Residence can then be verified by any record or document, such as a rent receipt, driver's license, utility record, pay stub, employment record, or third-party affidavit. Written documentation may be required for a change of address.
