In order to ensure that employees or other persons regularly providing client or support services in any program or facility of the MCDHH, or in vendor agency programs funded by MCDHH are appropriate for serving in their positions, with potential for unsupervise d contact, a Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) check shall be performed on candidates for positions in such programs or facilities, as provided in 112 CMR 6.00. It is the policy of EOHHS and the Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (MCDHH) that convictions of certain crimes pose an unacceptable risk to the vulnerable populations served by the MCDHH and its vendor agencies. 112 CMR 6.00 sets forth minimum standards
