Title 105 CMR 802.000 - Registration of Sanitarians
Section 802.100 - General Provisions of Registration as a Sanitarian

The Department shall issue a certificate of Registered Sanitarian to any individual upon satisfactory completion of all applicable registration requirements. An applicant who is not eligible for registration by reciprocity pursuant to 105 CMR 802.230 must meet the education and experience requirements of 105 CMR 802.200 and satisfactorily pass the examination required by 105 CMR 802.220.

If an applicant is found qualified by the Department, the applicant shall be registered by the Department as a Registered Sanitarian, with the right to use the title Registered Sanitarian and the letters "R.S." or "RS". No individual may assume such title or list the credentials of Registered Sanitarian (R.S. orRS) to indicate that the person is a currently Registered Sanitarian unless so registered by the Department.
