Each new facility, and each part of an existing facility that has been constructed or renovated after January 2, 2003, shall have at least one shower or bathtub with hot and cold running water for each six residents. Shower heads shall be spaced at least three feet apart with a minimum of nine square feet of floor space per unit. Showerheads shall be provided with flow control regulators allowing a flow of not more than three gallons per minute.
