The purpose of 105 CMR 432.000 is to set forth minimum requirements for municipal and recreational programs and camps to have a system in place to have Coast Guard approved personal flotation devices (PFDs) available to minor children who are in a swimming or diving area, excluding swimming pools, wading pools, and other artificial bodies of water, and who are classified as non-swimmers or at-risk swimmers, in accordance with M.G.L. c. 111, § 127A1/2.
