Section 300.110 - Case Reports by Local Board of Health

Each local board of health shall report to the Department the occurrence or suspected occurrence of any disease reported to the board of health, pursuant to 105 CMR 300.100. The case's full clinical data, demographic data and epidemiologic data, as defined by the Department, must be included for each report. Each local board of health shall utilize the secure electronic disease surveillance and case management system (MAVEN) designated and maintained by the Department. Each case shall be reported immediately, but no later than 24 hours after receipt by the local board of health.
