The Department may from time to time convene a state Perinatal Advisory Committee to advise the Department on issues related to 105 CMR 130.615 through 130.628 (Maternal and Newborn Services). The Advisory Committee shall serve solelyin an advisory capacity and shall not have authority to make binding decisions. The Committee may include representatives of the following groups: physicians, nurses, including nurse practitioners and nurse midwives, hospital administrators, and consumers.
