In addition to meeting the requirements of COMAR 30.08.11.09, a designated comprehensive stroke center shall have the following diagnostic capability available when indicated:

A. Carotid duplex ultrasound;

B. Transcranial ultrasonography; and

C. Transesophageal or transthorasic echocardiogram.
